Herbin born in 1670 in the heart of Paris and was originally specialised in sealing wax. In 1700, Herbin diversified its activity by starting to manufacture high-quality ink. Became a trusted name and the official supplier of inks to Emperor Napoleon.

To commemorate their 350 years, Herbin introduced a collection of five fountain pen ink colors in a maxi bottle of 500 ml. Every bottle is limited and comes with a vintage label and sealing wax.

Bleu Myosotis, translating as "forget-me-not blue", was one of the first ink colors created by Herbin.
