The techo cover design includes a bright red background and an illustration of Luffy by series author Eiichiro Oda that was specially created for One Piece magazine.
The cover uses a silkscreen print method to keep the colors vibrant. The butterfly stoppers are black, and the back of the cover shows Luffy’s precious straw hat.
The cover interior is a deep shade of pale yellow, the color of straw. The right-hand pocket is silkscreen-printed with Eiichiro Oda’s rough sketch of Luffy in white on a black background. This image is from the thousandth chapter of the series as printed in Volume 13 of One Piece magazine.
The bookmarks are red strings with white charms. The spine of the cover is black to recreate the look of One Piece magazine’s book spine.
The back of the cover shows Luffy’s precious straw hat. Peek inside the outer back pocket and you’ll see a powerful phrase that appears in the series.
Do you want to know more about the planner inside?
Starting from this year, you are able to choose your favorite language for the 2023 planner included in this set. It comes in Japanese (called Hobonichi Techo Original) or English (called Hobonichi Techo Planner) languages and you also find an image to see the differences.
Its daily pages offer plenty of space to fill despite the book’s compact A6 size. The graph paper offers an open layout for you to neatly lay out writings, clippings, and drawings. The daily quotes also provide users with interesting reading material.
The thin, light paper, called Tomoe River paper, is strong, resistant to bleeding, and allows ink to dispense smoothly across the paper, an ideal choice for a planner. A special stitch-binding allows the planner to lay completely flat without having to hold it down.
The daily planner starts from January 2023 and ends in December 2023.
